# Audit Log

> Review every access change in your Organization: who granted what, to whom, and when

Review every access change in your Organization from one place. The Audit Log records who granted what, to whom, and when, so security reviews and access questions have a factual answer.

## What the Audit Log records

* Members added to or removed from the Organization or a Workspace
* Role changes, including grants and demotions of Workspace Admin and Organization Admin
* Invitations sent and member join requests approved

Each event is one sentence. Role changes read: Changed role of \[member] from \[previous role] to \[new role]. A member who holds Organization Admin shows that as their role, since it applies across all Workspaces.

## Where events appear

* The **Organization log** contains every event, including Organization Admin changes and organization-level membership events.
* A **Workspace log** contains that Workspace's events: role changes within the Workspace, Workspace Admin grants and demotions, and member removals from the Workspace.
* Organization-level events, such as Organization Admin grants, appear only in the Organization log.

## Who can view the Audit Log

* **Organization Admins** see the full Organization log.
* **Workspace Admins** see the log for each Workspace they administer.
* Other roles do not have access to the Audit Log.

Visibility follows your current role. Gaining Organization Admin reveals the full log, including the entry recording your own promotion.

## Integrity

Audit Log entries cannot be edited or deleted, by anyone, for the life of the Organization. A privacy erasure request anonymizes a person's name within existing entries in place; the entries themselves remain.

## Availability

The Audit Log is available to customers on the Enterprise plan. Find it under **Settings** in your Sprig dashboard.
