# Feedback Creation

<Note>
  Reminders:

  * Feedback is supported on web-based delivery methods, such as your web application or website.
  * Feedback studies specifically will require a No Code Event URL to deploy
  * The minimum SDK version required for Feedback studies is [v2.27.0](https://docs.sprig.com/docs/developer-center/sprig-sdk/features-by-sdk-version)

# 1. Create Feedback

### Option A: Create from Scratch

1. Click on **+ New Study** and select **Feedback** from the **Start from Scratch** widget.

### Option B: Duplicate a Study

1. In the Navigate Pane, click **Studies**.
2. Hold the pointer over the Feedback study you want to copy, then click the ellipses (...) and select **Duplicate**.
3. Edit the study as desired.

### **Option C: Use a Template**

1. Click on **+ New Study** and select **Create from a Template** to harness a company-owned custom template OR a pre-built, expert-made template from Sprig's template library.

# 2. Add or Modify Questions and add Skip Logic

Next, you'll see the **Sprig Study Editor**. Here, you can further customize your Feedback study to match your goal by editing the copy, deleting or adding questions, etc. There are a ton of question types to choose from, plus additional customization options like Skip Logic and Display customization.

1. Optional: In the top field, rename your Feedback study
2. Add or edit your Feedback questions. For more information on question types, see HERE.
3. Optional: Add or edit Skip Logic, randomization, and more.

#### Marking a Question as *Required*

Toggle *Required* on or off at the top of each question card. *Required* questions disallow your users to skip ahead in the study.

#### Drag to Change the Order of Questions

Click on the question number to the left of each question module and drag and drop it to the desired position in your study.

# 3. Audience & Targeting

Once you like what you see, head over to the **Audience** tab, where you can add the part of the website that you wish to deploy your study. You'll also have the options to set filters and to create a hyper-targeted study audience.

### Audience

1. Click on the Audience tab in your Feedback study Website / Web App will already be selected as the Delivery Platform

### Targeting

<Note>
  **Prerequisite:** Sprig installation is completed.
</Note>

1. Under **Targeting**, select an existing no-code or URL based [Event](/docs/shared-study-foundations/events/index) or click and create a **New Event** to trigger the Feedback study.
2. Optional: Click **+Add [Filter](/docs/shared-study-foundations/main-tasks/study-triggers-user-filters-and-groups-copy)** in the "If user..." section of targeting to determine which users are eligible for your study.

### Response Configuration

1. Configure the **Response Settings** for your Feedback study to either run continuously or until a specific number of responses.
   1. Continuously: Sprig will allow unlimited responses until the study is marked complete or paused
   2. Until a specific number: Sprig will cap the responses at a certain threshold, and mark the study as complete automatically once that number is met

### Optional: Replays

You can choose to add [Replays ](/docs/sprig-studies/replays/index)to your Feedback to gather even more user insights.

* Set the Replay clip recording window (time of clip capture, and whether the replay is captured "Before", "After", or "Before and After" the event trigger.

# 4. Survey & Button Design

Choose the Design tab and you can choose from many style choices for your Feedback button - including color, placement, and label. (See [Feedback look and feel](/docs/sprig-studies/feedback/feedback-look-and-feel) for more information on styling options!)

1. Label - Add name for your label
2. Color - Select light or dark

Once you’ve finished customizing all of your Audience and designs settings, you can preview your study to make sure it looks exactly how you’d like.

# 5. Launch Feedback

Click **Launch Feedback** to launch and start watching your product insights roll in.
