In Settings > Configure, you can:
  • Change the Product Name.
  • Configure whether or not to Auto Accept Events.
  • For web-based single-page applications, dismiss the study on page change.
  • Define the Recontact Waiting Period.
  • Allow Manual Study Display from the command line.
  • Control Open Text Question footer content across all surveys as new questions are added and surveys are edited.

Product Name

Use this option to change the name of the product.

Auto Accept Events

Sprig will automatically accept unregistered events from your websites or apps to your list of triggered events.

Dismiss on Page Change

For web-based single-page applications (SPA), there is an option to dismiss (close) the study on page change. Note: after the waiting period, for page URL-based events, the study is only shown if the page URL still exactly matches the URL as originally defined. For mobile applications, this operates the same way. The study will not show to the user if their app view changes.

Recontact Waiting Period

Recontact Waiting Period sets the minimum number of days across all In-Product Surveys to wait before delivering a study to the same person.

Allow Manual Study Display

Enable the manual displaySurvey function for testing purposes, which makes studies publicly accessible by numeric ID.

Set Open Text Question Footer

This setting allows you to automatically add standard footer content to all Open Text Questions that appear in In-Product Surveys, Long-Form Surveys, and Feedback studies. This helps ensure consistency across surveys, saves time, and makes it easy to include important reminders such as not to share personally identifiable information in responses.

How it works

Once you save text in this field, all new and edited Open Text Questions will get this content automatically. This applies to surveys regardless of their state, for example, if you edit an in-progress study after enabling this setting, any existing footer content for Open Text Questions in the study will be replaced with content from this setting. Once this setting is enabled, editing footer content from within a survey will be disabled. The content can be translated along with the rest of the survey content using the standard multi-language functionality. To stop applying footer content automatically, delete all of the content from this setting and save. Footers for Open Text Questions will retain the last version of the content from the setting but it will be editable from within each survey again.
