AI Dynamic Questions (utilizing the Field Agent) automatically generate intelligent open text questions based on what your respondents say, so every survey adapts in real time, without extra logic.

How it works

• Add it to your survey. Insert an AI Dynamic Question anywhere in your study. after any open text, rating, or multiple choice question. You can also add a custom (optional) prompt to each question.
• AI generates a short, neutral question in your study’s primary language. If it can’t generate safely or quickly, the question is skipped. Always respects study language, skip logic, and quotas.
• Analyze in Reports. AI-generated questions and responses appear alongside your standard results, ready to review individually or together.

Why it matters

• Allow dynamic probing based on all the prior questions and responses.
• Less setup: no branching logic needed. AI handles dynamic questioning automatically.
• Faster analysis: AI responses are grouped and displayed so patterns are easy to spot in Reports.

• There is no limit on AI dynamic questions that can be added to any study
• AI Dynamic questions are available for: In-Product Surveys, Long-Form Surveys, and Feedback studies

• Agent Context (if provided) to stay aligned with your research objective
• All prior questions and responses
• Question prompt (if entered)
• NLP signals such as intent (pricing, bugs, feature requests, churn risk, compliments), sentiment, topics (onboarding, billing, performance, UX), and entities (product, competitor, plan tier)

Question styles AI may generate are any of the following:

• Clarification: Resolve ambiguity or vague answers
• Depth: Probe for reasons, mechanisms, or examples
• Context: Compare with past experiences or alternatives
• Impact: Explore effects, severity, or frequency
• Sentiment: Acknowledge tone and ask what influenced it
• Keyword: Drill into mentioned keywords or entities

Other Details

AI Safeguards Moderation filters block PII, bias, or unsafe content. Skip logic and quotas are always respected.

Best practice Start with 1–2 AI Dynamic Questions per survey to gain depth without adding respondent fatigue.
